There are two communities: London Towne and London Towne West. Are both communities bad or just one of them. Heard a lot of talk about London Towne is a shithole. Why???

LT is full of wanna'be gangsters, as is most of Westfield HS. When I used to know the place it wasn't somewhere I'd live, although my friends and I would mess with the wanna'be thugs and they never did anything.

Well, look at Reston I suppose. Back when my family first moved here we still had dirt roads, only a few traffic lights, and the airport was pretty much it as far as a bustling center goes. This whole place was carved up farmland, and the same thing is happening to Loudoun County right now.

At least Sterling Park is (very) slowly improving. All of the foreclosures in recent years have helped to clean out some of the trash. Well at least in the single family neighborhoods. I still wouldn't go near most of the apartments/townhouses.
Londontown on the other hand seems to be getting worse every month.

Has anyone looked in the Sex Offender website and seen how many people live in the area especially in London Towne? WOW!! Mostly Mexicans but ironically there are more Americans than I actually anticipated on the site. I wouldn't want to raise my family and children living in such a bad area! It seems like no matter where you move there will always be sex offenders creeping close by!

i live there, its not all the hype it gets just 9th graders who think they cool which they are not, anyway there is a good amount of beaners and black people there compared to other parts of centreville but the apartments on the other side of 66 have way more of the minorities, also nothing in centreville is ghetto try south east d.c not fairfax

Wow, all this negativity towards a neighborhood. haha. I just looked up some real estate listings in this community and there are $300,000+ TOWNHOMES?!?!?!?! And you all are trying to tell me this place is a dump? What entitled little snobs you all are. For $300,000 you could get 30 acres, and a 5 bedroom house with a 2 car garage, in most rural places in the US. You all need to look in the mirror and see what entitled litte a#@#$@# you are.

I bought a place in London Towne (Paddington Ln) last year and have largely been happy with it. No criminal activity that I'm aware of, and no "illegal beaners 30 to a unit" in sight. The only thing close to a complaint is that are a lot of big dogs around - I'm surrounded by dog owners - and while I love dogs, I don't love the incessant barking from poorly trained ones.
