Does anyone know of or have heard of Mr. Steve Rice, the West Potomac High School band teacher. I have heard rumors like he rubs his nipples and chest in class while the band is playing. I have heard he is all around a weird guy, who probley shouldnt be around 14-17 year olds. Anyone? Comments?

I am not sure if this is appropriate for this forum. First you obviousely wish to hide your identity and you post with a name that that has not been used before and you will probably never post here again.

Next you posted slanderous/libelous allegations that you "heard". Heard form who, students, his peers, his supervisors, parents?

If these allegations had any merit, I am sure at least one student would see a counselor or principal, or call some FCPS administrator at home about such issues. Then I would then hope that some type of review would take place and the results would be disseminated to the public.

I know I live in a fantasy world thinking that administrators, parents and some others involved in the school have a desire to teach and help our youth, but I think there may be one or two out there.

And any "welcome to the internet" response regarding anonymous allegations that someone "heard" are commonplace and acceptable, just does not sit right with me.

You and your two digit IQ are setting a bad example for our youth. You are showing you have poor judgment skills, very low morals, and a lack of understanding for the terms "slander" and "libel" for what could very well be a dedicated teacher and an innocent man. But this means nothing to you.

For someone who "Heard from students" I would guess you are also a student - and more likely a "snot nosed brat" then a responsible adult. Responsible adults would go through the proper channels to report such behavior to the proper authorities who are trained to investigate and deal with such matters.

Owned concerned, and I bet you're a student of his. And no crime in touching your own nipples, lots of people do wierd shit.

There are worse things that rubbing your nipples such as being an illegal alien and holding a sub prime mortgage. Please get priorities in order.
