Cry me a river, my sympathy for the deceased stopped the moment I found out that they were speeding and could have killed someone else.
This is just proof that people aren't willing to accept responsibility for one's actions and constantly feel the need to justify the unjustifiable, which is speeding and which this racer engaged in.

It is not the place to memorialize and remember the good times you spent with the deceased. It is not the place to find comfort about the passing of your friend.
It is a place where we make fun of the deceased, pull up his facebook pictures, theorize how his/her ethnicity/religion/sexual persuasion was his/her undoing. We don't have souls, we aren't affected by karma, nothing is going to happen to us. There have been over 50 deaths itemized on this site since I've started, and the amount of ill will generated would have put a 500 km wide smoking crater if there was anything to your god smiting us.

Aside from Carlos' death, this thread is the second saddest thing I have ever seen. Nobody who dies a tragic death like this deserves the cruelty Carlos is receiving right now. No matter where he is from and how he died, he's still a human, a part of the community, a friend, a family member to someone. Please everybody find it in your heart to pay respect to him or not say anything at all. As a community we have to support each other and when something tragic and terrible like this happens, it is the right thing to show respect and help one another get through it.
