I heard that there might be a new Jewish Deli in the area, but I have no information. Has anyone heard?

Not in NoVA, but The Parkway Deli in Silver Spring is great. The best matzo ball soup I've ever had in the DC area. It's well worth stopping in there if you're over that way. It's right off East-West Highway.

Brisket is right. This deli is really great. There's another one at

8100 Boone Blvd
Vienna, Virginia
About 1/4 of a mile west of the beltway and
1 block south of Rte. 7 across from Morton's Steak House,
behind the McDonalds and Jarad Jewelers

The best, however, is the Jewish Mother in Virginia Beach. Fantastic Ruebens!

Margie/Meeper? Why did you remove the posts by 'Jewish' and 'The Moderator'? The second post 'Jewish' made was far less bigoted than the first and he even threw in a little apology to The Moderator. This is how we learn.

Deleting posts is not the way to go unless the moderator believes a direct threat has been made or the language is extremely gratuitous or disruptive to a thread. You are overreacting. You don't want a boring sterile forum.

Not sure if its jewish owned, but Celebrity Delly (yes, spelled wrong) in Falls Church ROCKS....and has a ton of jewish food on the menu. I think its www.celebritydelly.com if not you can google it

Thanks for the correction Meep! That place is awesome- I used to work right by there and we would go for lunch at least once a week. Haven't been in a few months- but their food was very, very good :-)
