Westfield District Champs

Westfield is District champs in basketball, another tribute to the greatest high school in Virginia. Congratulations, and good luck on your jorney to states.

Its "journey", and yea, we'll see how good they are when their athletes start getting shipped off to South Lakes.

WOODSON RULES in Basketball -- yes we had a painful night against McLean last week, but we were #1 in our division and now we are off to the regionals 0n Monday against Edison! Westfields is good, but Woodson rocks!

Westfield sucks, they got 2 of 3 from Chantilly, but yesterday was just a terrible quarter by Chantilly that won. The fact is they're huge compared to the other schools in the Concorde and the fact that they struggle so much with Chantilly tells me they are poorly coached. They'll probably make the final 4 at the Patriot Center and then get crushed by TC Williams

Tonights regional games show how far the Concorde has fallen in basketball. Westfield, Chantilly, Herndon,and Robinson all lose, and they were by far the best the Concorde has to offer. Six games a year against the likes of Fairfax, Centreville, Oakton does nothing to prepare teams for the competition that other district teams are facing night in, night out, especially the Patriot district.

Too much hype, not enough experience against pressure defenses, athletic players, and coaches who actually coach.

and that would make the Concorde the worst of the worst... No Northern Region team has won States since Lee did it in 1981
