This sniper likes to sit here in the early mornings and late evenings lookin for red light runnin asses.
He's on Braddock Rd East prior to Burke Lake Rd facing 495.
This pic was takin on Braddock West in the Left turn lane to Burke Lake Rd.

I cant stand the morons who sit in the turn lane to go right on Braddock and waits and waits and waits for cars to go by...you have a dedicated lane to turn into...GOOOOO!
I only use that turn lane at 545a M-F...but I have made a few R's on red from the center lane a few times...when there are no apparent vehicles oncoming of course.

If you turn from the center lane on a red light then you are part of the problem. The sign says no turn on red from center lane.
When you turn from the right lane on red then you must yield to oncoming traffic. You cite people who wait, well those are the ones doing what is required by law. If the oncoming cars on Braddock decide to merge into the right lane then you must yield to them. If they come over and run into you then you are at fault. If the right lane was dedicated to the Burke Lake traffic then there would be a sign there.

If the oncoming cars on Braddock decide to merge into the right lane then you must yield to them. If they come over and run into you then you are at fault. That fucked up intersection would be a great spot to catch red light runners.

There is a FCPD officer that sits in a left turn lane just waiting for someone to go through the yellow light and not clear the intersection near the Volunteer Fire Dept.
He has the personality of a man that is married to one of the DMV nimrods. (I pray that they don't have children)..... this guy is angry all of the time.
He sits there and meets his quota for 'failing to yield at a traffic light'.

oh dont be such a boy scout. people make illegal u-turns, right turns from center lanes all the time within reason. At 10a, i agree, follow the signs, but at the ass crack of pre-dawn, poppin a right on red isnt gonna hurt anyone. Smart drivers like myself obviously arent gonna pull out in front of Safeway tractor trailer. Ive made the R turn atleast 2x in 6mos.
and as for the right lane turn:
You go with the flow of traffic and slow down at the bottom of the hill and pop your right. No one is going to merge into your lane from the middle of the intersection anyway. They would be in your lane much after they pass you at said speed while your still getting up to speed. However there are some donks who sit and sit and forget that they can turn on red. They get the horn!....As well as those who sit and wait for that ONE car traveling in the far LEFT lane to pass them..."stop being a pussy and drive I yell."
All of this going on between 515-6a M-F
What some areas need is a goddamn commonsense Left on red lights. That would be fun!

I can just imagine your driving record if you have that attitude. You can cut other drivers off as long as they arent big trucks. The signs are meant for only those drivers who are not in a hurry. Nice.
As for me I drive a pos and am always on the lookout for some douche in a hurry busting lights so I can run into him and get myself a new car and some civil suit money for pain and suffering.

People who sit in the right turn lane of Burke Lake too scared to too right (despite the the new lane that starts there) because they think some guy is going to randomly and nonsensically switch from middle to [new] right lane in the middle of the intersection (despite seeing the big stream of cars turning right) - are retarded and should be honked at.
If you want to be a pansy turning right there, use the middle lane and let the rest of the traffic keep moving efficiently.
