Whee. So some people moved into my neighborhood a few months back. The guy (assuming the husband) is too fucking stupid to actually put out his cigarettes before throwing them onto the ground, the neighbords yards, and the common area between houses.

Doesn't do this just once. Oh no. Every fucking time. Puff, puff, should I put it out? Strip it? Tap it on my shoe? Fuck it. I'll just throw it in someone else's yard.

Improperly disposing of a cigarette is a class 1 misdemeanor you douche. A maximum of 12 months in jail and a $2500 fine, per instance, is a pretty steep penalty for not paying $20 on a metal can with a lid and filling it with some sand.

How about this as a gesture in return:

1. Get a cheap 25 count box of cigars (Swishers, Dutch Masters, etc).

2. Cut them in half and burn on one end to give them the appearance of being spent.

3. Get access to a dog that produces turds of similar length and color.

4. Over a period of several days, start tossing 2 to 3 real cigar butts into the offender's yard. Preferably, place them in a noticeable place where the offender will be compelled to pick them up.

5. Once the guy gets in the habit of looking for the spent cigars, start adding a couple of fresh steamers courtesy of your pup's chocolate starfish.

6. Rinse and repeat.

This is precisely the problem. People who smoke are idiots by definition. So expecting any kind of normal behavior out of them (such as not throwing their cigarette butts into your yard, or out of their car window, etc) is like expecting the Cowboys to make the playoffs.
