Since you're probably both underage then you can't order wine, so you're screwed. Regardless, you should still get a hotel room and spend the night. Chicks love that shit. But, if you go through all that trouble make sure she's gonna put out!! I believe there's a whore inside every chick. When you spend money on them they seem to be willing to open those legs more and even if you have a girl, she's willing to "please you" with many more tricks. You'll get the hang of it young buck. Yeah my school's homecoming is coming up, and I'm looking for a good restaurant in centreville, manassas or somewhere close to either of those places where I can take a date to? Umm possibly a more upscale place...

No idea where it is, but I know it's the best steak money can buy.

I have to second the vote for a Japanese Steakhouse. Definitely more fun than an upscale restaurant. There used to be one on 28 in Manassas Park, but I believe it is gone now. I don't know of any others in Centreville/Manassas.
If you want to stay near Centreville, you can always go to Fairfax Corner. They have a Ruth's Chris and a PF Chang's (not upscale but kind of trendy. I ate at the Ruth's Chris once- the food was good and the atmosphere was better.
Also, the Hermitage Inn in Clifton has good reviews.

There's a Japanese Steakhouse in Chantilly. I forget the name of the place but it's near 50 and Centreville Rd (near Rt 28), right next to the Milwaukee Frozen Custard place. Also there is a Japanese Steakhouse in the Fair Lakes Shopping Center right where the Jared jewlery store and Applebees is at.

Save your money.... Take the hoe to Sullys, it's cleaner than darbrewe's place, and you both will end up getting screwed.
Or just take her down to "The Clubhouse" in manassas. I'm sure they would treat you two kids very well.

Don't know if you have gone yet. Here are a couple of good places in the Centreville/Manassas Area:
Chez Marc on 28 just outside of Manassas Park. I personally don't care for French food, but everyone I talk to likes this place. Nice atmosphere and more upscale than the chains in the immediate area.
Carmillo's Little Portugal in downtown Manassas. Very nice. Very romantic. Even though it "features" portuguese food, the menu is fairly continental and you can get good steak, seafood and pasta dishes.
There really isn't anything nicer in the area. I doubt for homecoming you want to trek over to Tyson's Corner or Reston.

They just recently opened a place Called "Redrock Canyon" in that area. It is good eats, has an upscale menu and bar and a great fire-pit out on the patio area. Should be able to google it for an addy.

I'm actually really disappointed with Sweetwater Tavern. I always thought both their beer and their food were way overpriced for what you get. I've been there about 3 times so far (the last two times unwillingly) and every time I was disappointed. Maybe it's just been the times I went, I don't know. But every time I pass by that place I always wonder why in the hell the parking lot is so packed.

I second your opinion, I think the food portions for appetizers are a criminal rip-off considering what you get and what you pay (not much and too much)
The bar pretty much sucks also. I really do often wonder why so many people love it, it tells me that we have really low restaurant standards around here.

Have you looked at the restaurant selections in Centreville? Sweetwater is a winner by default (I actually like it okay, the way I like a Bennigans or TGI Fridays).

Newbie. I agree Sullys in Chantilly is pretty much an armpit in terms of atmosphere but what's with the Hot Buttered Elvis and Nighthawks bashing? I just saw Hot Buttered Elvis in Nags Head two weeks ago and I didn't think they were a bad band at all. What's the beef with Elvis? Just curious.
