For some reason this garbage dump passes for bar, how I don't know. the whole thing, a shitty one story mud hut in annandale, looks like it's about to collapse in on itself. I drove by one night, the place was crowded for some reason. They were bikers though.

So has anyone ever been in this toilet bowl of a bar?

One of the few places left in the area that has good live music from time to time.

Some really good bands have played there through the years.

If it leaves it'll be replaced by something asian or mexican. If by some miracle that doesn't happen, it'll be just another fast food type place.

Good place to see some quality live blues, maybe dance a little. Comfortable, friendly. Worth a stop.

It's a great place to see live music if you're a group of only 10 people. If you want the lead singer to be yelling in your ear and the drummer sitting beside you. Good bands? Are kidding me, the bands are usually garage band rejects from other bars. The place maybe holds 20 people max and the band is usual 5 of those people.

As for the women make sure you wrap it good.

gotthemBs, you are right. Never, ever go to the Sunset Grille. Do not set foot in that place. They have no fake-peppy waitresses. It doesn't have cute Americana or sports geegaws tacked on the walls. The music is played by people, not a sound-track from a DJ like those fancy places you are used to. It is disgustedly unpretentious. It just is not your type of place.

Back in the day we would play darts. More fun times is Annandale.

This will give you a good idea of the size of the bar and quality of bands. There is a back section but this is the main part of the bar. Looks like they took out the three of four tables in this pic. There maybe a 15 foot bar behind the people and good luck getting service.
