Verizon Statute of Limitations

Verizon dragged a cable through my property. If they dig it out, they half to throw some grass down. It's Winter so the grass won't grow. I'd like to wait till Srping.

If Verizon tries to play tough guy, how long do I have to file a lawsuit

Tortious damage to property = 5 years.

But if it's Verizon, they may have an easement over your land. Check your deed.

Verizon is making a mess of things as they try to install FIOS in the neighborhoods. I believe their main contractor in the area is S&N Communications. That's the sub that hires on all the illegals to do the digging. Plus, they use a pipe driver to try and push the cable underneath your driveway. Sooner or later, the driveway will experience issues with settling in that spot.

They cut into some irrigation pipes in my community and apparently when they did, they got out the duct tape and tried to repair the pipes with the tape so they could keep on digging. I don't care how good FIOS might be, I'll never switch to Verizon. I won't even use them for my cell phone service.
