What do you mean by freakshow? I haven't been on that site in a couple years, but I remember it used to be a very informative site.

DCRTV.org...not .com. If you want to know anything that's going on in the media this is by far the best website to check out. If Dave bugs you so much don't surf his site.

For whatever reason everyone in the business is afraid of this guy, even the vaunted Mike O'Meara. Mike freely admits being afraid of him and says he buys ads on the website because he knows people will read it. What Dave Hughes' background is or why he wields this power, I do not know. Was it Dave who Don and Mike used to parody all the time?

You are correct. In fact, Don ultimately swore off Dave Hughes because of Dave's allowance to have Carl Grossman (the man convicted of stalking Don and his family) flood DCRTV with crazy posts about his innocence and talk of a grand conspiracy.

Contrary to what most media people and visitors of his site think of him, Dave Hughes is a very slimy, unethical individual. I know this for a fact.

Ok, so why is everyone afraid of him? Is it because he is the only person with a local DC radio and TV website? Where does this power come from?

I think the fear is a product of how wormy Hughes can be. That he'll go to any lengths to dig up dirt on a person, whether its factual or not. No one wants to run the risk of this guy assassinating their character so that he can get a few cheap web hits.

Look how ghoulish his mailbag section of the website is. Just a group (allegedly only a few) of misogynistic, washed up radio people making outlandish and crude comments. The mailbag section serves absolutely no purpose whatsoever.

Frankly, I think the site jumped the cliffs at acapulco some time ago. You couple that the state of D.C. tv and radio sucks with most employees at local media outlets banned from the site has lead to very dull content imo. You add in the pixieish ways of the webmaster at dcrtv and I'd say yuck

What gets me is his crypto-gay agenda. He seems to have an S&M fascination with conservative hosts; wants them to assfuck him while he maintains his disagreement with them politically. He barely keeps that yearning for assfucking in check.
