What happened to Hayfield Basketball??

What ever happen to the dominance the Hawks had in this area when it came to Boys Basketball?? It seems they have fallen big time. I can still remember when they played Cave Springs in the state semis and JJ tore us up. A couple years later we had a promising team with Antonio Haymon, Alex Woodhouse and Mike Freeman. Now it seems like the past. Any thoughts??

Loss of talent. Ineligible player in the first round of the playoffs in 2010.

The players on all the WCAC teams are all recruits. All of them. What ever happened to sports as community pride? The WCAC has sucked Hayfield dry (South County too). It's no surprise that the public school teams are mostly short white kids these days.

Not enough niggers on the squad. More importantly, too many guys with front yards on the team. The best basketball players come from homes without front yards.
