Twinbrooke Community-ROBBERY?

At about 8:00pm we had cops everywhere in our community and I was told by a neighbor that there had been a robbery but that the cops didnt specify where it happened. All we know is that the cops were not allowing anyone up on Chapel Ridge. There are cops all over the shopping center as well. Does anyone have more information???

I was coming out of Safeway when the police started flying into the parking lot. They drove down to the corner of the shopping center towards the Baskin Robbins and Subway. Someone in the crowd that gathered asked a policeman and he said that the Baskin Robbins was robbed. I saw that the owner of the ice cream store committed suicide there last week. I think the police thought that the robber ran back to the townhouses behind the center. That is what I saw and heard.

I think they robbed the 1-800-flowers store for Alstromeria and Baby's Breath.

I live in Twinbrook and heard all kinds of helicopter activity around 8 pm; pretty scary if what I'm reading here is true. Robbery- suspect(s) fleeing into adjoining neighborhood.

I think there was an assualt/robbery of a young man leaving Safeway withinh the last two months as well?

Subsized housing also takes the form of Section 8 vouchers used by renters of the townhouses both adjacent to Twinbrook as well as those off Braddock closer to Guinea Rd. Obama supporters get used to getting everything for free by leeching off society, so robbery comes natural to them.

You can tell the robber was smart. He robbed an ice cream storm in fall. I'm sure they made off with a lot of $$. I heard in the summer they are going to rob a ski resort

Maybe it was an escapee from the training center. They get loose sometimes and just go into B&R or safeway and help themselves.
