UPDATE: Police Release Composite Sketch
Police released a composite sketch of a suspect in connection with the 10/28/11 incident described below. Additional suspect descriptors include; a thin moustache and suspect believed to be a smoker.
Student Grabbed En Route to School
Mount Vernon Police District β Police are investigating a report of a 14-year-old girl that was allegedly grabbed while walking to school on Friday, October 28 around 7 a.m. The incident occurred near the intersection of Quisenberry Drive and Kings Hill Court.
A man offered the girl a ride to school; she ignored him and continued walking. The man grabbed her; she kicked him and fled. Police were not immediately notified of the incident but have subsequently investigated, contacted neighbors and canvassed the area. The investigation is ongoing.
The suspect is described as Hispanic, between 30-35 years old, around 5 feet 10 inches tall and wearing a dark, puffy coat. He stood near a vehicle described as an older model gray or black 4-door vehicle.
