I was wondering what the Asap classes are about? Has anyone here been to this? What will the first day be like? Please no smartasses on this thread...

Trust no one. No one is there to help you, its just a job for which they are paid. Don't be late, don't miss class, and always be sober or you will be kicked out and back in court for more fines/fees/classes.

Like someone else already said, it's a couple of classes about alcohol safety and awareness. You listen to some lecture, watch videos, etc. Sometimes they make you go out and attend a local AA meeting. It depends what your situation is and which program you will be put in (there is the basic one 20 hour one, a "young offender", habitual, etc.). I would check it out on this web site:
http://www.vasap.state.va.us/

Remember to always be there on time and get your slip signed for the AA meeting!
