It is weird looking and I think it was on the market a couple yrs ago for $800-900k or something like that. The listing said it could possibly be two building lots, but didn't seem like it was big enough from the street.

Looks like 1930's mental facility, but on a small scale. Brick, crap parking lot and rusty old single pane windows. Is there really a bunch of old folks living there? I never see anybody in the yard or anything

Also, what's with the group house on the corner of Malcolm and West St like two blocks over from this one? Its a weird triangle shaped lot and there are always 8-10 cars in the driveway and a bunch of teens hanging around. Anybody know that one?

Dats mah house and I am CRAZY. I'm the dude running all over the place wildly swinging my arms and talking to myself. When I'm on my medication the voices are hard to hear. When I don't feel like taking my meds I can clearly hear them telling me it is time! Time for the deed. Yes.

Beware, I'm nuts and I don't like anybody eyeballing me.

I live nearby and pass that place daily. During late summer, there was a yard/garage sale of sorts and I figured that the place would be for sale soon after. No such luck. The yard sale had the junkiest things imaginable for sale - old kids' bikes, toys - nothing that would indicte that this was an old folks' home.

It has not been in business for at least two years. I recall a few cars parked there with magnetic cards stuck on the doors with the Ayr Hill name - kind of an attempt to look official.

Come to think of it, in the past five years, I have never seen anyone around that place. You'd think when it was in business, you'd see an elderly person outside...

Anyway, it is a eyesore.

Hmmm, steady stream of old people going in, but nobody ever comes out. The fireplace was apparently in use constantly, even on the 100 degree days in july. Guy was marketing lawn care products including one that looked like ash with teeth in it for grub control. Said the teeth were there to kill slugs as they slimed over them.
