Route 29 from Fairfax Circle to Merrifield

I'm a little slow on the uptake but driving this road the other day and realizing MetroWest is coming a lot sooner than I'd hoped, hell already have a functioning stoplight, that this thoroughfare will be one long traffic jam especially when Mosaic gets up and running. How far are they adding a extra lane down 29 from Merrifield?

Really man the traffic is getting unbearable for this old farte. the urbanization of the county yuck Clarendon/Ballston is fine were its at.
