While it is a known fact that the name "Redskins" is considered by some to be a racially insensitive name, I hereby propose that the Washington Redskins replace the indian logo on with that of a redskin potato or redskin kidney bean. That way the PC crowd is satisfied and the historic name is still retained.

Man, I hope they don't bring Cowher in here.
Seems like every time I see him on TV he's crying. Football players and coaches should never be seen crying in public. Go home and cry, but not in front of all the players, fans and kids wanting to be future football players.

All the players want Greg Williams to take over. Personally I'm not so sure about that. I think he has his hands full just managing the defense.

I would be really bitter to see ANYONE from Dallas coming here to coach (been there, done that).

Isnt there some new rule that Snyder has to at LEAST consider a coach of colour as well? So Cowher not a shoe in. Maybe Jason Campbell could be coach since he will be bumped by Collins for starting QB next year.

Let's see. Snyder has to consider a coach "of color." Let's review Snyder's criteria for hires:

- Big Name: Check
- Limited Ability: Check
- Incredibly Big Paycheck: Check
- Makes Absolutely No Sense to Anyone but Snyder: Check
- Has had some Coaching Experience: Check
- Is Black: Check

Got it. Denzel Washington

- Big Name: Huge Star
- Limited Ability; As Coach? Absolutely.
- Incredibly Big Paycheck: $20 Mil?
- Makes Absolutely No Sense to Anyone but Snyder: Hey, he partnered with Tom Cruise.
- Has had some Coaching Experience: Ever see "Remember the Titans?"
- Is Black: We're talking Malcolm X here.

He'd have a hard time coaching from jail. And what if someone blows coverage or the QB gets hurt, would Vick Strangle or electrocute that player? awersome.

Gibbs got canned.

Whenever anybody in Washington uses that "I want to spend more time with my family" bullshit...it means they are about to be fired or indicted.

I've always wondered about Gibb's NASCAR involvement. Just a few years before that he was broke due to bad investments and Cooke had to bail him out. Where did he suddenly get the zillions necessary to start a NASCAR team? I always figured her was fronting for somebody. Especially, when after a few years of racin', he suddenly had time to coach football again...
