Anyone remember this place next to the multiplex in Centreville where bone(r)fish grille is now? Was it any good?

1.) go fuck yourself if you haven't heard of it
2.) why did you respond then?
3.) same reason everybody asks for reviews of closed down restaurants here, to see if the food was any good or if the place was better off closing down

We had some of their carryout one evening. Everything was WAY too salty. The ribs, the pulled pork - all, too salty. In fact, we thought it was so nasty, we never returned. Maybe, their poor quality of kitchen personnel is what led to their downfall.

Meanwhile, a bit down Old Centreville Road, I see that the log cabin place next to the 7-11, on your way to Manassas Park is turning back into a BBQ joint. I never went to the first one that was there a dozen or so years ago. It, too, seemed to fail after a few years and then some Chinese joint opened up there for a short time and I think some Spanish place. Now, it's heading back to BBQ.

It was great and not the least bit salty.

Hey d2F: You are absolutely right. They had the best Baby Back Ribs in this entire area. Fall of the bone perfectly cooked. Nothing I have had in this area matches them. Think they closed about 2001 or so, only lasted a couple of years.
The owner would come to your table and talk about winning a contest in Memphis for BBQ. Miss that place and thanks for that memory. Maybe just a bad location for the time period.

The only other ribs that I have had close to them was from Dixie Bones in Woodbridge, Va..
