Did anyone else just fucking feel that? It felt like a fucking earthquake!

Yes. There was an earthquake in Centreville about 2 min ago. That is DEFINITELY an earthquake because I have experienced it before.

Felt it in Charlottesville. My mom was near the epicenter in Louisa, VA, she said it was very freaky. They are still having aftershocks about 5-8 seconds apart. I was on the phone with her when they had a another very strong quake.

We felt it in NYC. Our office building rumbled faintly, probably because the foundations are so deep. I thought it was the subway train nearby, which sometimes causes minor rumblings, but this felt odd, and I wasn't surprised when I turned on Facebook to see all of my friends in NYC and New Jersey reporting that they felt it, too, and that some things fell off of people's shelves. I hope everyone in VA is safe.

Wow, I am in Advance, North Carolina, near Winston-Salem. We felt it - our house shook for almost 30 seconds. It scared us to death!!! I didn't know what the heak was happening. I was upstairs and it felt like my house was going to fall to the ground!!! Weird!!!

Greenwich CT, office building. Those of us on the 1st 2 floors did not feel a thing. The employees on the higher floors left the building. Everything shook. Yup, they were scared.
