Question for new Verizon FiOS customers in the area

I am moving to the area and recently ordered Verizon FiOS. Due to a current strike, I was not able to set an installation date. They said a representative would call me when a date opens up but would not give me a time frame.

Are there any new customers that have experienced this? How long did it take you for a date to be set up?

Yes my installation was scheduled for Friday morning. Was called with an automated message this morning saying that my installation would no longer take place, and that they would contact me soon for the next appointment.

you might want to make mention of that to the FCC, i'm pretty sure they'll take more than a mild interest in a nazi like HOA preventing free market consumerism of a telecom service they oversee.

especially since the HOA doesnt own the right of way the utilities have access to.

HOAs also tried to block satellite dishes and OTA antennas, and we saw how that worked out for them after the FCC got involved and told them to sit down and STFU. F HOAs, run by nosy busybody retards.

Sorry about that. It might be a while with the strike on. You might want to call back and speak to a manager about it, especially if you need FiOS to support working from home.
