I happened to catch a bit of an exhibition game at Woodson last night. They looked like champs, at least the offense did! #32 and #30 were awesome...these two with a little help from defense should take the Cavs all the way!

I think you probably know who #32 and #30 are since one of them is your child, who you are now showing this post to as if some random person stopped by a friggin' football scrimmage and was so compelled by their play that they had to race home to write on this forum. By the way being a district champ is not going "... all the way", only the state championship warrants that honor, and Woodson ain't getting that.

You seem to know everything! 1. I am a retired Woodson alumni who tries to catch their games when possible 2. My observations were just that...I observed a pretty good team in which 2 particular players stuck out 3. My granchildren will not be playing for many years so you are wrong again. Don't hate!

Week one will be an ass kicking for them, when they play Chantilly.

You would have to be an idiot to know think that #32 or #30's parents came on this board and started writing about them. That would be embarrassing for the players. More than likely, it is their buddies writing this and they are messing with them by doing it. Pretty easy to recognize that..... As for Chantilly being so great - lets not get ahead of ourselves here. I know so many on here are ready to crown Chantilly and Centerville. Its all hype right now. Lets see them do it on the field first. Last I checked, Woodson was in region title game more recently then both Chantilly AND Centerville.

Chantilly made it to regionals last year and lost to lake braddock. good try though

Woodson has a ways to go, I think the new coaching staff will do a good job.
5-5 would be a good season for them. In the district they will lose to LB, SC, WP, and probably Annandale. I think they will have some games to build on, but distict champs, not this year.

Yea, they have also talked the last two years about how they would win the district in baseball too. Didn't happen. How about winning something to earn your respect in the Patriot District.

Speaking of WTW baseball... back in MY day my Cavaliers won back to back State Championships in baseball!

wtw baseball was the regional runner up two years ago and went on to lose in extras in the state tournament. last year, their record was 17 and 6. not too bad

They are more Manassas then they are Fairfax. Same with Centerville. That's the sticks as far as Im concerned. Closer to PW than they are central Fairfax. Bunch of hicks. They suck and they are jealous of Woodson and everyone else on their schedule.

Dear Carl,

Are you retarded? Chantilly has been in 3 of the last 5 region championship games and has won more playoff games than any school except Stone Bridge in that stretch for the northern region. Then you are going to suggest we were relevant last year for the first time? Give me a damn break.

42-6 at halftime last year, Woodson can't sniff the program Chantilly is.

FYI Chantilly and Centreville are nothing like Manassas, first time I've ever heard that ignorance, but your whole post was so what ever.

In all fairness to carl, there was a time that areas like Chantilly and Centerville were known to be the boonedocks. Trust me. I grew up in Falls Church in the 70s and going anywhere near Chantilly or Centerville was considered a hike. Sure, times have changed, but there was some "truth" in what the "tooth" had to say.
