Rock Skipping Clubs

I recently moved here from PA. I am a member of the Rock Skipping Club of Pennsylvania or (RSC)

Does anyone know of any clubs or contests in Northern Va? It has always been a great way to spent Saturday and Sunday at the tournaments.I would like to get back involved with any of the clubs in the area.

I have been trying to find a Rock skipping club in NOVA, but have not had any luck.
I too am from Pa. It is really big time up there.
We would go to the tournaments almost every weekend.

I may put out feelers in the RSC monthly magazine, to see if maybe we can get a club going here in NOVA.

Sounds like something you'd see on ESPN 8: The Ocho.

Just go to a lake and start showing off your skipping skills while making sexual innuendos at mens wives and theyll have to defend their honor and outdo you.

There is a club called Skip Rock of Northern Va.
They have meets every Saturday and Sunday usually in the Occaquan area.
2 weeks ago, Russ Byars, National Champion was competing at the Occaquan match.

It was a great time for all.

Is there a web site available?
I moved to Northern Va about 10 years ago from Pa, and I havent been able to find any clubs for Rock skipping.
At one time I was ranked 5 in the nation, would love to get back in to the competition.

ESPN did a report on skipping rocks, now I can see this stupidity has gone nation wide. Next we will see adults playing frisbee golf, oh wait.
