What was the name of the skateboard shop at Fair Oaks Mall in the 80s?

It was on the lower level, maybe near Sears? Near the escalators??

I think it was Sunshine House? If you skated at Rabbit Ranch, Cedar Crest, etc that was the place to get all your Rusty, Billabong, and other poser gear.

I wish I had bought a shitload of Zorlac, Santa Cruz, Powell, and Vision Gator decks there and kept them in the basement.

There was also a hobby shop on the lower level that sold models and paints, etc. In the rear of the store they sold skate-boarding equiptment. The rear wall was covered with decks and other skate stuff. You could pick out a nice Lucero or Schmitt Stix deck and then customize it with trucks, wheels, bones and ribs, ect. They also sold some "ready out of the box" decks like Vision and Powell-Peralta. I think it was called "Hobby Town" or "Hobby World" or something.

It was called "My Hobby". Worked there for 5 years. Cool place awesome owners. We held skate jams in NOVA at parking garages, gave merchandise for winners. Good times.

I remember a skate store but it was upstairs in a corner next to one of the large department stores.

I think it had "edge" in the name. Maybe Active Edge or The Edge. Anyone remember?

Reminded me of my last gator vision deck, traded it to a friend for a pair of worn combat boots. My combat boots were totally hammered. That deck was pretty roached too... Good trade at the time. Lots of good times blessing dc hardcore through my Walkman on that board... Many many many fucking miles covered...

The ALL-TIME leader in the clubhouse for NOVA poser skate surf shop...Wavedancer Surf Shop with multiple locations throughout the area. They tried to stock the best stuff but, they didn't have good relationships with either Gullwing or Independent so, they never had any trucks. As for decks, if you knew when their deliveries were you could score a premium board but, I think the manufacturers just knew what a crap, poser store it was and had everything sent to more worthy shops.

Good afternoon, if you are also into farming like me, I am sure that you will find this store useful for yourself. Here you can find a good range of surf equipment and I am sure you will be very pleased with the prices in this store https://easy-surfshop.com/. Here they are very good. But the most important thing is that you can order it all online and get fast delivery.
