Bus trips to Delaware Casinos

Anyone know of a reliable bus operator who provides bus trips to the Delaware casinos?

last summer I wanted to go to the Harrington Casino. I called them and they gave me the name of a bus operator who picks up at the Beacon Hill shopping center on Rt 1.

I caught the bus. After a few stops in Alex. and PG the driver took a head count and said he didn't have enough riders and took us back to our pick up spots. Extreme bummer.

I'd like to go this fall for some sports betting action. Any help would be appreciated.

I have the same problem. I always have to beg people to take me to the casino. I'm friends with this Indian Taxi driver. I only pay him $30.00 dollars for gas and whenever he goes to the casino he calls me and I go with him.

Where do you go from? How often? What days?

I live in the Kingstowne area. I would be happy to contribute and ride along.

Why dont you go to Charlestown, it is closer? Not sure what the payback is on slots but on table games the odds are the same anywhere in the U S.

I know CT is a dump but with competition growing they are bound to get better. Look at AC, they are sucking wind due to casinos opening in Philly and elsewhere. They send me all kinds of comps and I havent played there in two years and when I did I was a $10 a bet table game guy. Certainly not a high roller.

CT does not have sports betting.

I used to go to AC once or twice a month for craps and baccarat, but the long trip became to too tiring. I have not been there in a couple of years.

I went to CT once before they started table games. I'm not interested in slots. My girl friend and I like to watch and bet the ponies. We were visiting friends in WV and stopped in for a look-see.

Oh, Charles Town.

Well, that's not what I am looking for. I am hoping to find a carpool/ride-a-long to Delaware. The drive from where I live is about 2 hours. I would rather pay someone to do it. I don't care if bus or private car.

They only have sports betting in Vegas. That may change as New Jersey was supposed to be suing the U S because they only allow Nevada to have sports betting creating a monopoly. CT is very good for horse racing as they have self service machines and plenty of places to watch the races. I dont bet the ponies, the take on them is too great.

Their table games have high table limits, at least the last time I went there and virtually no comps to speak of. If I am betting $25 on the pass line I expect more than a tee shirt as a comp.

Fairfax County offers day trips to CT

The good thing is I doubt they will cancel on you and they just service Fairfax and dont drag the trip out by stopping in PG or elsewhere.

No. The Delaware casinos offer parlay bets on the NFL. Delaware, Montana, and Oregon were grandfathered in due to previous lottery games involving sports betting when Congress passed laws against allowing states to offer sports betting in the 1990's.

Fairfax County offers day trips to CT - hope this helps

Thank you, I didn't know about these trips.

I called FC. The price for the Aug 14 trip is $ 79. The cost for the Oct trip will be $ 105. Those prices seem high. IIRC the bus trip to Harrington from Beacon Hill was about $25. It did not include the buffet. The CT trip includes the buffet and a racing form. Still, if CT offered sports betting, I would be tempted. I'll have to think about it.

I live here in DC and would not mind paying to get a ride up to the Casino.
I recently went to Chester, PA to the Harrah's and would really be interested in that too.
