07/22/11 14:46 (TYSONS CORNER - 4-CHARLIE) UNITS ON SCENE WITH AN MOTOR VEHICLE ACCIDENT, BUS INVOLVED. 15 PATIENTS, ALL GREEN TAGS AT THIS TIMES. [VIR091]

"Green tag" refers to a 'walking wounded' situation where the victim is not in an immediately life-threatening condition and treatment can be delayed. It's a good thing.

This is not a good day to have all those 'green tags' in a bus accident. By the time the EMTs look at them, they will be suffering from heat exhaustion.

With today's heat index, people should have been encouraged to stay home and take the day off.

When there is a winter advisory, people are encouraged to stay home.

When the heat index reaches 119,it might be prudent to keep traffic down to a minimum. The pollution increases when cars/ lawn mowers, etc. are used in this type of heat.

I am a working Mom. It's a Friday= people should take a three day weekend!
