I love to people watch. My favorite haunt is probably Tysons I.

Anyone else like to do this? Where do you go to people watch?

Shopping malls are great. Grab a seat and let the show begin.

I also love the Fairfax Fair (or fairs in general). It allows me to see lots of different folks from all over the county in a single location.

For a place to be successful, the folks must be different from my social/economic sphere. I don't find people watching at Target that interesting. Or at Costco. Wal-Mart? That's the jackpot in my book. Some strange stuff happens there...regardless of which one you go to.

Casinos are also excellent places to people-watch. Take a ride up to Charles Town, you'll find all sorts of weirdness and unintentional hilarity. There's something about a casino that really magnifies the worst qualities of humanity.

At the corner of 1st and Pennsylvania Ave just behind the Capitol.
Arrive around 11:15 a.m. and sit down on the ledges in front of
the Library of Congress. Very nice lunch parade and easy on the eyes.:)
