What ever happened to the Krispy Kreme on Alban road?

Hey there, I remember there being a Krispy Kreme doughnut store on Alban Road, next to the McDonalds. I think it might have been connected to the gas station thats there. Anyway, is it still there? It's really close to my house, but I was in that area yesterday, and I didnt see anything. Did they take it down?

The only Krispy Kreme remaining in the area is the original one on Route 1 in Hybla Valley.

It's been gone for many years now. We used to go to it all the time back in high school.

Wasn't that the one that the County sued for dumping all that fucking grease into the sewer system and plugging it up. I think KK pulled out in retaliation. Good riddance!

Nope, that was their factory in a business park in Lorton.

Sales tanked when the FCPD station moved and they were forced to close.

NO...it was part of the On The Run Franchise inside the Exxon. The Exxon was sold to a local fuel distributor last year, which has since leased the C-Store portion ONLY to 7-11. Since 7-11 has their own proprietary donuts, they stopped selling Krispy Kreme!
