I've thought about buying a long board but figured I would only use it once or twice and then it would sit in a corner and collect dust.
There is a group of kids that ride longboards and hang out at the Starbucks in Huntsman Square. They all appear to wear those skinny jeans and flannel shirts in the summer so I guess you could call them hipsters.

you should get one, its a fun way of commutting. you can also save gas money if you have a car.
about the longboarders at huntsman, theyre just kids tryna have fun,and i guess some of them wear skinny jeans because its their fashion and also they work in one of the stores at huntsman SQ.so they chose to wear pants so after skating they would just go to work ready..

I just can't imagine how it is comfortable to wear jeans in the summer heat while doing something as exerting as skating, especially when the jeans are stuck to your legs. I'd rather take the scrapes and cuts that come with falling down than sweat all day long in jeans

That's complete bullshit if you have been run out of Huntsman. I see people skating in the least used part of the parking lot so it can't be affecting traffic that is coming and going. If you're not leaving trash all over and yelling profanities I don't see why anyone should have an issue with you skating there.
