Who has been to the new posh healthy Seasons 52 restauraunt in Tysons? Every entree and appetizer is under 450kcals, the menu changed with every season, and every week there is a new chefs special. Anybody vouch for this place?

We had planned on going a few weekends ago when it first opened, however we had a last minute change of plans.

its a chain restaurant, so i doubt its amazing. its probably just "good" at best.

Even for a chain, it's excellent. Great atmosphere, great food, a solid wine list. I highly recommend it.

Do they have a house band called "All 52 Seasons"?

Do they play 52 Seasons in One Day by Crowded House nonstop as the house music?

Blatant self-promotion much?

Next time, try a little read through before posting.

Just guaranteed a loss of interest here.

They don't have a drive thru. I doubt you would have been interested, anyway.

I was sort of interested in this place because of the low cal menu and seasonable whatevers - but I made the mistake of going to the bar BAKED TO THE GILLS from a nice 42o in the parking lot. As you may know, marijuana strips away the programmed facade of our worldview and reveals the grim reality of the situation - if you've got the right strain (this isn't always a positive high.)

Anyway, the place reeked of old fashioned shitbaggery. Just look at the fabric they used on the booths! The median age is 55 and the waiters actually have to bring out a dessert tray to pitch to every table. I actually asked some investment banker type to move from this one barstool (for some reason) and he was all mad because he couldnt watch golf on the poorly-positioned tiny LCD screen. Regardless, I saw waiters fighting and it was pretty hilarious. The plating consists of a piece of meat/fish and then 4 carrots lined up next to 4 pieces of asparagus. To top that off, they've got these monitors that show the cooks/bartenders the exact portions and how to build the plate, what's in the ingredients, blah blah.

So in closing, maybe I was just really blazed, but the place is just pure shit. If you're a senior citizen, I highly recommend checking it out. If you're into getting really baked, I highly recommend checking it out .. just for the freakshow. That place scared the fuck out of me and I was considering the "dine and dash" just to expedite my fleeing of the place.

So let's see, you hated the other patrons and thought it was funny that some wait staff had an argument. How was the actual food? Also, since when is bringing a dessert tray by being shittbaggery? You = shitbag.

Tone Loc-

They're trying to go for a classy piano bar thing, but it's just tacky as fuck there. AND I SHOULD KNOW since I'm fancy as fuck and know what a good restaurant is. I think.

I was baked, you see? Some staff guy was whining to the bartender and he was like "GOSH DAVID JUST LEAVE ME ALONE." so choice, so hilarious. PLUS, I was looking for any type of humor in that zone of despair.

FINALLY - bringing out a goddamn dessert tray to entice the cattle in there is tacky as fuck. I can't put it any plainer than that. They should put the desserts in a case out front like all the other diners!

I didn't taste the food - but I saw it being delivered in my periphery. The plates had the presentation value of a shovel.

You can go if you want - I'm sure the entrees are palatable, and you can't beat the low cal factor. Just know that people with red eyes will be LOLing at you people in there.

The menu is unimaginative and uninspired. The service is on par with any other chain of its sort. Finally, it is in a mall. While the calories are low, the sodium is through the roof. You might not gain weight, but hte place is sure to raise your blood pressure. Add it all together, the place is not worth the visit.

For low cal food, it was very good. And frankly, I'm glad to see this and other restaurants exercising portion control. I know it's not the fucking Super-Sized Big Mac Extra Value Meal you are accustomed to, but it's time Americans stopped trying to eat a day's worth of food in one sitting for every meal.

You don't read very well, do you? I am hardly accustomed to mega portions of fat, sodium and cholesterol. My BMI has never been above 21.5. I seriously doubt you could say the same. Low cal is only a small way to be healthy. A teaspoon of salt has zero calories, but that doesn't make it healthy. I am sure it is healthier than the fat and sodium ridden establishments you and your family go and slap the feedbag on. However, please note that taking your fatass kids to Seasons 52 once a month does not mean the little fatty is eating healthy.
