I suggest you listen to more historical hardcore music (Minor threat/Sick of It All/Fugazi/Youth Of Today/Bad Brains etc.) and less of this emo/screamo fag shit.

How about you go listen to some real metal? Not Slipknot, not Korn, not Bullet For My Valentine. Real metal. Something like Lamb of God, Dir En Grey, Death... hell even Dio or Iron Maiden could really steer you and your dumb little buddies away from this "melodic hardcore grunge metal post rock" cluster fuck of a made up genre.
