I like that they included "surgeon mask" in the description. Surely he would have taken it off as he fled the scene.

I don't know man I've cashed checks of 6-8 without the teller having to go to the vault or anything. Figured they have more. No amount would be worth it to me, just sayin, 4 grand is not nearly worth risking prison time and/or your life.

"a black thin male about 5,10"

might be easier to spot him if you look for a 300+ lb white chick

I cant find any recent data...

Between 1996 and 2000, the average amount of money taken during a bank robbery is approximately $5,000.

That's what the police surmised. They were searching the area for the mask. Apparently half the witnesses said the robber went east and the other half thought the robber went west.

They stopped a bus with a bunch of illegals on it. Nobody wanted to talk or give a name. Imagine that.

I wonder if that's the guy I saw on my drive home. Just past the Fairfax County Parkway and on Rt. 29 there were 12 - 14 police cars and a police SUV. Lots of cops out of their vehicles and only one car pulled over on the left side of the road. It was fairly well boxed in and it wasn't damaged from what I saw.

If that wasn't the police catching this guy, anyone hear what it was on the news?

I saw that, it was crazy. I thought it was an accident because all the westbound lanes were blocked and only the shoulder was free. But no ambulances or fire trucks just cops.

Discussion below, no need to rehash here. I gave a theory, some anon asswipe called me on it, I gave hard stats and analysis, he got real quiet.

Is he purported to be the same person who robbed the bank at the Union Mill shopping center?

Don't know, the only thing I could find on that bank robbery you mentioned was this news article:

Now if BB&T would just put up a "No Robberies" sign next to their "No Lawful Firearm Carry" sign their problems would be solved.
