What in the hell is piza?

Grab your goat and get back on the boat or get your ass back across the border you fucking taco bender.

At least the Italians, Germans, and Irish raised their standard of living to fit their new environment.

And no, the Italian Store isn't that good.

Any NY'ers in here will tell you that Italian Store pizza is not THAT good. It's just ok imo. I'm not sure where in this town has the best pizza but I go to Orzo for specialty pies and that joint off N. Sycamore St by Backyard BBQ in that shopping center... if I just want a regular slice close to a NY slice.

Flippin, Anthony's, Z pizza... all those hack's just make glorified and over-priced cheesy bread, just my 2 cents.

This. The owners also run Johnny's in the plaza at Manchester Blvd and Beulah St in Kingstowne, in case that location is more convenient.

Not really any good pizza in the county. You have to go to Manassas (Big Joe's) or Adams Morgan (Jumbo slice)

This is a joke, right? Jumbo slice only stays in business because the hammered masses of Adams Morgan needs anything to help soak up the swill.

This is random, but this reminded me of Oscar (Zeballos) Santana, of Big O and dukes fame. He is of Bolivian descent and for the longest time on the old radio show, Dukes used to make fun of him because he said "peek-za" instead of "pizza." I, personally, have never heard of anyone else mispronouncing the word in that way, but maybe it is a South/Central American dialect sort of thing. anyways, just thought it was funny and worth pointing out.

The Don's in Sterling isn't "NY Style", nor does he claim it to be, but its damn good. I get the Margherita with the fresh mozz on it. I could eat that for a week straight.

Their calzones and stromboli are great too. Gigantic if you get a "full" size.

Tony's in Fair Lakes is more like what you'd get from any decent pizza shop back home.

Most places are pretty terrible though. If you call yourself a "NY Pizzeria" and don't sell individual slices, then you should change your name.

The worst I've had? Z Pizza. It isn't cheap and it isn't good.

THE BEST EVER...I grew up there and have wondered if the place (Mama Mia's) still existed - are the pizzas still in the rectangular shape? Is the old crappy juke-box still there? Did they ever renovate the inside (tables / chairs etc..)? I hope not, that place is such a great memory. Do they still say "fiteen-miniits" no matter what, or how much, you order?

For me...4-5 friends, bikes leaning against the window outside, and a couple of pizzas at hand --- the grease is the secret ingredient.

President Obama took his debt team out for burgers at Good Stuff Eatery on Capitol Hill on Wednesday, giving new meaning to the "Popeye" character Wimpy's catchphrase "I'd gladly pay you Tuesday, for a hamburger today."

The White House said the outing, at which the president consumed a meal of about 1,700 calories, was a reward for the debt team's "nonstop" work over the last few months as they worked out a deal with Capitol Hill to extend the government's borrowing limit. Mr. Obama signed the extension into law Tuesday, just ahead of the deadline, allowing up to $2.4 trillion in debt to be accumulated.
