I'm truly heartbroken. It may have sucked for the most part, but at about 11pm on their "country" nights, it was the whitest place in NOVA, with some of the finest "Country" girls/MILFS I've seen around here. I honestly don't even remember having to suffer through the music.

I don't think that location is destined for any long-term business to stay established. First, it was a Bertucci's Italian Restaurant and Pizza place, then a BBQ joint. Finally, onto Ned Devine's. Between each occupant, there has been at least a 6 month to 18 month vacancy.
Maybe, it's time for the a developer to bull doze it down and turn it into something else.

You're correct regarding that "sewer smell". Actually, I do think they dug up the floor boards a few years back to trace the sewer line and apparently, found a leak. However, by that time, the stench had permeated such a wide area that fixing the true leak didn't get rid of that nasty smell.
Oh ... and speaking of the Multiplex. Back in '91 or '92, there was a college student on break who was shot and killed by the pay phone outside of the theater. I don't believe that case was ever solved. Sad.
