Did some work at the house of a fairfax sheriff's dep today, he says all the cops have seen this video and love it....

First of all I must say that I'm happy to see that this is what my tax dollars go to. I remember several years ago, some friends and I were coming back from a movie we went to see on a snowy night. On the way back most of the roads were clear so I went to take the truck out of 4 wheel drive in a school parking lot since it was empty and would be less likely to hit something. This was before the autosensing slip type 4 wheel drive and the truck had to be put in reverse and backed up for a couple yards. To make sure it was out, I hit the gas and the rear spun out while the front sat there. So I knew it was out. I looked straight ahead and there was our counties finest with all their lights out. Once they realized I knew they were there, they turned on their lights and blocked the exit. There were two cops. One young rookie dickhead, and one older more layed back cop. Too make a long story sort (too late) the cops accused me of doing donuts in the parking lot when it was obvious I wasn't. The dickhead was trying to say he was going to arrest us for trespassing before I even explained what I was doing. Anyways, the older cop told the dickhead to go away and he took care of everything and let us go.

yo rstidman what sheriff deputies house were you at? I had to do 200 hours of "sheriffs program community service" so i know a rack of them. they're actually pretty cool, much cooler than most local cops. at least the local rookie cops.

I was at the house of an Officer Dennis Holmes, really nice guy. He lives in Culpeper so take that for what it's worth.

Shame on you all for taking the name 'donut' in vain. What do you expect from Fairfax's finest? You are taking the #1 food choice and reducing it to the act of a vehicle spinning in circles. I don't blame them at all for any retribution the may take.

In their defense, when they were making 'donuts' in the parking lot, they were constructing a monument in honor of their beloved. It isn't illegal in that regard.

unlike IBM keyboards those cheap chinese ones have a few major problems:

* they allow experts to hack your computer using flawed chips

* they do not "debounce (patent IBM) keys" well which means you
more frequently get typo even though you pressed the keys right

* they keys jam and stick easily if pressed at an angle, and sometimes
new out of the box - as if they are chinese take-out toyota motors
("rebuilt motors" actually used in japan, taken out by dealer before
failure, sent to USA and labeled as "rebuilt motors", sold to consumers)
