I also like how the asshole doesn't stop to see if everyone is okay or to file a police report. The dude is an eye witness. I'm sure the person who got creamed in the hatchback would have appreciated having a witness.

The driver was probably talking on his cell phone.

I find it amusing that the video showed over 35 seconds of boring driving, a few seconds of the crash, and then almost another minute of more boring driving.

And I watched it all. You Tube is going to suck away what little free time I have left, it's getting to be worse than sleep. Stupid links.

I think the SUV may have been trying to get over to the exit ramp and didn't see the Honda. If you look at the video, it's possible the smaller Honda went into the blind spot of the SUV when it changed lanes.

Regardless, the SUV was driving recklessly. The driver of the Honda was lucky his/her car didn't get hit again when the car spun into oncoming traffic.

It's strange that you hear the vibration of the camera and a faint radio, but noone calling police or speaking to the driver as the guy states.

Unless of course this amazing Good Samaritan used his incredible power of ESP to *predict* the accident and called the police and talked to the driver prior to filming.

Why all the hate, faggot?

First, he should have pulled over to the shoulder immediately after the accident. That is the proper protocol when you witness an accident up close like that. I have done this on various occasions.

Second, the guy "spoke to the police" but didn't know if the guy in the SUV was drunk or if the person in the Honda was hurt. Seems unlikely that he wouldn't get that kind of information from a cop if he asked for it, even if the parties involved remain anonymous. I've been through similar experiences and the cops will at least let you know if the person in the car that was hit was okay or not (even if they don't share the details).

I think this fellow felt guilty because his friends and family probably busted his balls about leaving the scene. Why else make an overt effort to say he spoke with the police?

This stupid dick probably caused the asshole. Having a fucking video camera in one hand, and trying to control the car with the other; real fucking smart. Dumbass should have been hit in that rear by that out of control SUV LOL he would have barrel rolled..with the camera still running!

Here's what clearly happened. If you noticed in the left lane seconds before the crash you'll see 2 cars FLYING, if the driver with the camera was going 60mph then those cars were up around the 80's at least. So the dude that crashed was either 1- racing, 2- drunk, or 3-just driving like an asswipe (as most of VA/MD residents do). I'm from NY and I've never seen so many people drive fast and out of control as I do around here, it's amazing.

At any rate, I like how the d**k didn't even pull over to check out the scene... another classic VA/MD move.

I record because most people do not respect each other and are not honorable enough to accept consequences of their own actions.

He's full of crap. He probably street races whatever car he's in and keeps the camera rolling so when he finds someone to race, he's got record of it. A lot of people do this around here and they do it late at night... as you can tell by the traffic on 66 at the time of his video.

It certainly doesn't look like he stops, plus it looks like the video camera is mounted on something. Probably one of those crazy MADD patrol people who picks and chooses what cars they want to harass.
