I was involved in a car accident yesterday and waited for 35 minutes on route 7 for the cops to show up... I saw 2 cops drive right past us and i was waving them down, and in the end not a single fucking pig came to help us. Here's my main problem, if i had called in as a nieghbor spotting some teenagers having a party or seeing 2 kids possibly smoking weed, they would drop there donuts and be at the spot in under 5 minutes. you should have taken that 35 minutes and moved your car off the road. i was stuck behind you. also, did you think that the police could have been going to a more serious call? they could have been serving and protecting you. you never know.

fyi unless it's a major wreck you move your dumb ass off the road....the pd do nothing for you unless there's something major about the wreck...an injury, major damage, possible future damage to other cars.....

He was dropped as a child (repeatedly).

I was hit my a tow truck in a private parking lot while parked about a month ago. The truck left the scene and a witness was kind enough to leave me a note and number with the company name. The police showed up about an hour later and refused to file a report, because it was an accident on private property. I buy into all of that, no need for a report for every parking lot ding, but in this case the driver left the scene to evade responsibility. The fucking cop asked me if I was lying about the damage to "get something for nothing" from the tow guy, he threatened that lying to police is a crime and all that jazz. The witness clearly explained that they SAW the truck cause the damage.

Apparently, it is OK to cause property damage and not claim responsibility if you are doing your job. All I wanted was a report for my insurance company.

Resolution: The tow companies owner stroked me a check to keep it out of his insurance.

It is shit like this coming from bullshit beat cops that undermine the effectiveness of and trust in the majority of hard working officers.

I called in a fight that had broke out next to my house. The person who answer the phone asked me if I could describe the fighters it was 1am and dark. I asked what did he mean by describe the fighters he says what do the look like. My response was what will get you here faster there beating the shit out of this guy and his car. The Fx police arrived about 45min later even though I saw to police cars go by 30min before the fight broke out.

I used to work in a cell phone store that a lotta cops used and this one cop explained to me how yeah, there are dick cops any force - but that's the case on any job. Dick nurses, Dick car repair guys, dick Burger King workers - but cause cops have more power, that ppl just see all of them as alike. So when you meet that dick cop, you are more likely to see ALL cops as dicks. Yet when you get that dick behind the counter at Taco Bell, you arent as likely to see all Taco Bell workers as dicks.

All part of their job, apparently

btw, cops DO NOT have the most dangerous job in America - in fact Garbage guys die more per year than cops do on the job...........and even THEY arent in the top 5 - scary stuff
