Can anyone recommend an electronic supplies shop in Fairfax County? I want to build an infraread receiver for my computer so I can interface it with my TV remote control.

I hear that the Radio Shack IR receiver module is not very suitable for my purposes. Everything else I can probably get there. Any other suggestions?
