Loud noises near Centreville at 4:30 this morning

Does anyone know what the loud noises were this morning. Statrted around 0430 and lasted about ten minutes. Sounded like thunder or explosions, but was not thunder.

I heard SOMETHING this morning that startled me (was fixing coffee) - around 05:00-ish, though - thought it was a standard large single-family-home trash container being dropped but my blinds were open and there were no people around outside dropping trash containers - the noise was sufficiently loud to slightly shake the house.

North Centreville almost south Chantilly.
