can anyone recommend a great lawyer in fairfax couny that is known for beating drug charges for any reasons. i have a lawyer at the moment but im questioning his abilitys. i would be so greatful for the help. i dont care the cost.

You should have thought about about this before you chose your current lifestyle and became hooked on drugs. I hope you get a lengthy sentence.

You certainly came to the right place to ask though. There are tons of felons and other assorted criminals who use this site. I'm sure they can give you a few pointers.

correction i am not a drug addict, however i was in a living situation where my ex roommate was. in saying that, what was found was in a common area and therefore i was charged as well as her since we were both on the lease. i have always had a clean record and would just like to keep it that way.
now that ive cleared that up can anyone help?

Depending on how long ago you were arrested you should take a drug screening ASAP unless you are truly guilty. If the drugs were found in a common area it would be a tough case for the state to prove unless there is more to this.
Were the drugs packaged for sale or personal use?

If you do take the drug test and your room mate was smoking while you were there you may well test positive so that is something to think about.

If all else fails take the rats way out and testify against her in exchange for your charge being dropped.

They placed the charge based on "Constructive Possession". In other words, the drugs were in your aea of dominion and control. Unless you made incriminating statements, the charge will probably be nolle prossed.
