Fairfax County General :
Fairfax Underground
Welcome to Fairfax Underground, a project site designed to improve communication among residents of Fairfax County, VA. Feel free to post anything Northern Virginia residents would find interesting.
Its borderline...The question does come up in general conversation as to what constitutes Northern Virginia. The consensus amongst my circle of friends is that Nova means anything north of the Rappahannock River and anything east of the Shenandoah River.
Others might move the western perimeter in closer - nothing further west than, say, Middleburg.
So, Fairfax, Loudoun, Prince William, Stafford, Arlington, Faquier, and part of Clark county. Also all the independent cities therein (Alexandria, Fairfax, Falls Church, Manassas Park), etc.

Nova ends promptly when you get to the old stone mill off of I-66, just past Manassas... Also, The southern boundary, ends where the HOV lanes end. SouthWest corner extends 1 mile past Manassas park.
