Typical fairfax county BS. The last straw

Has anyone seen how the sidewalk at the intersection of south lakes drive and colts neck road switches to the opposite side after you cross the street? I was biking there today and this really got me ticked because I had to cross the street (Jay walking) at rushhour 6pm. Luckily there were no cars at the time but Myself or any others who had this incovienience could get hit by a carelrss driver who texts while theyre driving the car.

No. The only thing that should be illegal is riding a bike in the street and clogging up traffic.

sidewalks switch sides, end without warning midblock, and generally are laid down with no rhyme or reason in Fairfax County - hell, all throughout VA. Part of the "Pay As You Go" way we develop land here in Virginny.
Either way, nobody MADE YOU have to " to cross the street (Jay walking) at rushhour 6pm" nor were you in any danger - since as you stated: "there were no cars at the time"
And since that intersection has a traffic light and CLEARLY MARKED CROSSWALKS AND PEDESTRIAN SIGNALS, it seems to me your lazy ass could have simply gone back crossed there instead of illegally crossing where you did, if you were soooooo worried about getting hit by a car.
