former Herman's sporting goods building Tysons

And most recently former home of Bed Bath & Beyond(which moved around the corner to former home of Hechinger's and most recently World Market) has sign indicating a pet Smart will be opening there soon. I thought the subway and redevelopment in the area would bring an office building or just maybe a condo development(zoning?) but I guess not

The building behind HErmans, which I think is a treadmill shop, and before that was a light store - do you remember what it was through the 80's?

I want to say it was a clothing store. Dash's Designers maybe? "Dash's Dash's Dash's!" Like a Mens Warehouse before Mens Warehouse. Old school Northen VA stuff.

I miss Herman's! Funny, I recall paying as much or more for running shoes there 20 years ago than I do now. I don't mean to say the store overcharged--at the time, I thought its prices were good vs. the competition.
