Situation one: a guy driving 55 mph in a 25 mph residential zone, and doing so to catch a short light at the end of a long straight away (Point Pleasant road crossing Stringfellow), nearly kills both of us because he can't wait for the extra cycle of a light. As he's TO MY LEFT, IN THE INTERSECTION, I flick him off. He then follows me to tell me it's not okay to flick him off after he almost caused a major accident because he couldn't wait for 2 minutes for the light to cycle. Yup, that was me flicking him off for avoiding me.. and almost wrecking my car.
Situation two: someone cuts me off. I don't jam on my brakes, and follow closely. At the stop light, he turns his car off, exits, and walks up to my open window. If you're not retarded, you might notice that someone sitting in a car, with a seatbelt on and an open window, might be at a slight disadvantage to a raging moron outside the car. So, choosing to not be a potential victim, I unbelted myself, used my car door to move said raging moron out of a position to attack me, and stood my ground. You've seen television or movies of someone having their car beaten while they sit with the doors locked cowering inside? Yeah, that's not me. Sorry about that.
Situation three: I was two cars back on the right turn, which is one lane. After turning myself (onto Stringfellow), I proceeded to pass him. He followed me. No cutting off, no passing around a turn, just passing on Stringfellow road where it has 4 lanes and merges down to two.
And to whoever mentioned engine braking? Yeah, if I'm coming to a stop at a light, I put her in neutral and brake. I'm going to be out of gear at the light anyway, and which is cheaper; a brake-job, or a new gear box?
