I go to the YMCA in Reston, it's somewhat cheap especially compared to sport & health. Even I you don't get a trainer, they will be more than happy to give you advice on your workout. I believe when you first sign up you get 1 month free with a trainer. Sport and health has a great facility, but it costs about $1,200 a year. The "Y" doesn't necessarily have the best equipment, but if you work hard you will see results. Hope this helps

$1200 a year??? where do you get your numbers? Sports & Health is $35, I am a member. Even lifetime fitness is $60 and I would consider them to be the best gym in the area. Fuck the Y, only homeless people go their to shower

After having fucked 2 of the female personal trainers at lifetime I can vouch it is the best gym for your buck in the fairfax area. Lots of strange, plus during the day plenty of married MILFs looking to cheat on their husbands if you give them the time of day. I was there tonight as a matter of fact, plotting on a mean blonde i've seen come in a few times...

Prices vary at different S&H gyms. It's 99 a month at the McLean location (79 with a 2-yr contract). If you join at that location, you're allowed access to all of their gyms in the area except one at some hotel downtown.

? Well you're just verifying what the person above said - it's about $1200 a year. So where does this $35 come from?

He joined at a S&H gym that only charges $35 a month.

That does sound abnormally cheap though. I think their Reston location was like $50. Maybe some of the smaller clubs are even cheaper.

I hate Sport/Health. S/H Worldgate used to be the premier gym in the area, but they let all the equipment go to shit. It was WAY overpriced and I don't care for public hot tubs/steam rooms/saunas. That shit is gross. I go to Gold's Gym Clocktower now. It's great. Around $40/month.

I go to the one in Annandale. No sign up fee, just $35 for the first month. Originally they wanted all sorts of fees and higher monthly rate but I ignored them for a few weeks and so they finally called with their "BEST DEAL EVER, GET ON IT TODAY OR DIE" type of crap so I signed up. They have a HUGE tennis court area and noone ever uses the weights/cardio so it works for me. The hours suck on the weekends 8-8 but other then that I have no complaints.
