Arrowbrook Center - The Next Reston Town Center?

Familiar with the new soccer fields/recreational park along Centreville Rd near the Toll Rd just before you enter Herndon?

Apparently they're building "Arrowbrook Center" there, a massive collection of office buildings and apartment complexes containing retail shops and restaurants on the first floors, in a style akin to Fairfax Corner or Reston Town Center.

The Herndon-Dulles East Metro station will be built adjacent to this town center, meaning access will be far better than access to RTC or FFXC ever was. The location's good and offers ped access from the Oak Hill/Clocktower-Area townhouses/subdivisions, but I'd imagine traffic is gonna be insane once this is done.

WHAT'S THERE TODAY - Except that the soccer fields in the drawing have already been built.



The house on the bottom left-hand corner is Merrybrook, an early-19th century estate home to Confederate Spy Laura Ratcliffe after the Civil War. I found more info on that here.

great. more traffic. couldnt you just drive 5 minutes to reston town center for your overspending needs?
