FAIRFAX COUNTY, Va. -- Three suspects were arrested and charged in connection with a robbery that occurred at a Sunoco gas station at 14010 Saint Germain Drive in Centreville Tuesday at about 1 a.m.

Two men, one armed with a shotgun, entered the Sunoco, demanded money and struck the victim with the butt of the gun, police said. They fled in a car with cash.

The victim, a 26-year-old Centreville man, was not seriously injured, police said.

Officers stopped the suspects on Westfields Boulevard at Sully Road.

That'll teach thugs from Ox Hill, MD to not come here and rob stuff.

Saw that, definitely good work by the PD. I'm a little surprised that they nabbed them so far from the scene of the crime, but the Maryland dumbasses probably didn't realize they were right next to the Sully District station. Hopefully they'll be sentenced to several years in PITA prison.

Let's hope that these crooks are the same ones discussed in county police reports on November 29th when four robberies were committed.

It is just not safe for robbers these days. They can't rob the drug dealers in PG or DC without fear of getting shot. They can't come to Virginia because of all the concealed weapons holders.

I like the one in PG where the burglar got stuck in a CVS vent shaft and died. No one knew he was there until he started smelling.

My favorite was the one in Frederick, Md. a few years ago. Some idiot tried to
rob a gun shop. The sales clerk waited until the robber looked away and then
pulled a .44 Mag that he had holstered in the back of his pants. The only
thing he could have done that was dumber was to try and rob a police station.
DC feller dead on the spot. Guess nobody told him that gun store clerks might
shoot back.
