I am considering Sandals all inclusive package for a winter vacation.
I have never been to any of their resorts. How are they?

Worth the money?

Thanks!

Sandals Montego Bay is great, but only if you stay at the Royal Carribean site (cleanest, better dining selections). You can visit the other Sandals resort sites (3 total) in Mo' Bay via bus that runs ever 20 minutes up to midnight and I believe take a 2 hour bus to Negril and Ocho Rios if you have an extra day to spend. All inclusive is the way to go; no tipping allowed and plenty of food & drink (top-shelf included) whenever you want it. You can even order champagne to your room up to once per day free-of-charge. -§

...what was said above, is absolute!

Sandals, Montego Bay was GREAT!!!!!!!

BUT... throw a couple bucks to the bus driver between the airport and resort - choose not to, and your bags WILL suffer.

Stay AWAY from Jamaica! Try the Virgin Islands or Bonaire....awesome for snorkeling/diving....Even Aruba beats Jamaica....direct flights from Dulles on United and Aruba is not in the hurricane belt.

All inclusive is good if you just want to stay on your resort and drink drink drink....but if you like getting out and about and eating where the locals eat I would not do the inclusive thing....

Yeah, Jamaica is not even on the list :)

Considering St. Lucia and other islands.

my boyfriend and i went to sandals saint lucia in march and it was AWESOME. i would reccomend staying at the grande and visiting the other two resorts if you have time. all inclusive is the way to go - the drinks are really strong and they'll even let you bring bottles of wine/champagne from the bar back to your room free of charge. we ate breakfast everyday at the restuarant by the pool/beach...i so want to go back.

St. Lucia Sandals was nice too, only the flight is much longer. There are other all-inclusive resorts at better islands like BVIs, Turks & Caicaos and Grand Cayman, but since you specifically mentioned Sandals, I only know of St. Lucia, Mo'Bay and Ocho Rios. I'm sure they have a few others. -§

I believe that is actually a Golden Corral.

I guess if you are 90, that's the closest you are going to get to a Sandals.

There are 7 Sandals in Jamaica (Montego Bay, Royal Caribbean, Ocho Rios, Dunn's River, Negril, Whitehouse, and Inn); 3 in St. Lucia (Halcyon, Grande, and Regency); 1 in Bahamas; and 1 in Antigua.

Each have different restaurants, activities, and amenities. I'd say do more research on their site.

Love the cheezy "Sandals" logo on the bottom of the pool and the faux Roman columns. Caligula would have approved.

Go to Hedonism III and "share" with friends....
