A 1/4 keg is roughly 3.5 cases - not very much. Just buy the cans and/or bottles. It'll only cost you about $35. 1/4 kegs are only a decent buy when it is a premium beer. I can't imagine 1/4 kegs of any beer meant to be designed in mass consumption being sold.

Or you could just buy an eight pack of Guinness, then add water to equal 1/4 keg. It will probably taste just as bad as Natty Light! just joking with you...

Actually, mydollar amount was pretty low. More like $45. You get the idea though. For roughly the cost of another case, you gould get a full 1/2 keg (twice the amount you'd be purchasing in cans/bottles) for $60.

Natural Light

Hey don't be afraid to splurge a little bit and get the Natural Light Ice, it's totally worth the extra money.

Why not just get some King Kobra? After a few swigs it doesnt matter, even if its
warm. I just read about a nut case who burglarized a convenience store and all
he took was 2 bottles of KK, leaving the Heineken and others behind. Must be
good stuff.

I dont think they sell King Cobra (its spelled with a C) around here... we used to drink that all the time in college. If you drink enough of it, sometimes the next day you actually wish that you got bit by a real cobra instead.

Rite Aid sells them I think for 2.49 for a 6 pack of 12 oz cans.

Call Vienna Inn. 703-938-9548. they are cool there and will throw the thing in your car for you if you are a girl. I dont know if they do 1/4 kegs, but they have Natty in halfs (what you would refer to as a "keg" 15.5 us gal). They are always trying to sell me it when they run out of Miller Lite. I think they are $70

Skip the keg unless you know you will drink it all for sure. Bottles are much better. If you are set on having a keg Giant sells them but you have to ask them a few days ahead of time.

70 is a tad expensive. Id look for a half keg for about $50-60. it better include delivery.

Re hmm:
Right, it will lose its carbonation or whatever if you dont drink it fast enough.

If you have a kegerator, it won't lose carbonation. Kegerators use CO2, instead of regular air like a hand pumped tap.

Naty Light 1/2 keg at Total is about 60 bucks... about 140 +/- beers from it.

Naty Light on tap really doesn't taste bad at all.

mmmmmmm, beer

Some kegorators do CO2. You have to get the CO2 yourself.

Yep, but the kegerator kit I got from Bars By Bud in Merrifield has a 5 lb cannister. It is good for 7-8 kegs. You can get it refilled at any place that fills paintball cannisters. A refill costs about $16.

id think you could also get it from a place like Roberts Oxygen. THey have several places around here.

What did you pay for your kegorator?

Bars By Bud in Merrifield

That store is great. Despite his seemingly cranky demeanor, Bud's actually a cool guy to talk to.

I got it for $235.00 about 2 years ago. Comes with everything except the drill bit to drill the hole in the fridge door. That was about $6 at Home Depot.

And I agree, Bud is a grumpy old codger, but a neat person to talk to. And the bars he sells are beautiful, but pricey.

Isn't the water that comes out of the anacostia the same thing as natty light? why not just move the party to the waterfront?
