Fairfax Circuit Court Case Information?
Posted by: courts ()
Date: February 05, 2011 01:13PM

Is there a reason why Fairfax County isn't on this list to view circuit court cases? You can view district court cases, but Fairfax County isn't listed for circuit cases. Anyone know where I could see this information?

No idea why Fairfax County isn't listed. You have to physically goto the courthouse to lookup records. I think there MAY be a pay-for service to get circuit court records online. Totally ridiculous.

Please complain as loudly as possible. I sure did (and it didn't change shit)

It's not publicly available, you have to pay for access and it's not cheap. Otherwise you have to go to the Courthouse personally or call a clerk and hope they're telling you the correct info. Unfortunately, due to budget cuts, its doubtful that this will change any time soon.

Go to:
http://www.courts.state.va.us

1. On the left hand side of the page select "Case Status and Information"
2. Select "General District Court" and "Case Information"
3. Type the characters shown in the image for verification, and press Enter
4. For Court, select Fairfax County General District from the drop down menu
5. For Search Term, enter your name: lastname, firstname (do not use middle name)
6. For Case type, select Traffic/Criminal or Civil
7. The default is "Active" cases. Change to "Inactive" or "Active/Inactive", if desired
8. Click on "Search"
9. When you have finished using the application click the "LOGOFF" button at the bottom of the page
Note: Do not use the "Back" button on your browser within this application.

Roberto, perhaps reading comprehension isn't your strong suit. The OP asked about viewing Fairfax Circuit Court case information, and in fact acknowledged that district court case information is available.

As me meme correctly stated, obtaining Fairfax Circuit Court case information online requires purchase of a pricey subscription.

It's because Fairfax Circuit Court is run by Fairfax County and the General District Courts fall under the State. They are funded and run by different agencies.

The problem, though, is that many other Circuit Court databases ARE available - for Fairfax's own reasons, theirs is not.

I've believe that this website containing the court case information is a pilot project and Fairfax does not participate possibly due to the volume of records that would need to be entered. I believe there used to be a statement on the home page about Fairfax records not being available, but I notice now it's gone.

Remote public access is provided for $50 per month and is available to anyone. Link to:
http://www.fairfaxcounty.gov/courts/
and look for CPAN under Circuit Court.

Or the access is free if you go down in person at the Courthouse.

Does anyone know George Mills? He was 2 time state wrestling champ at Robinson and wrestled at GMU. I heard he is locked up at Sussex prison until 2032. I know he had a statuary rape case back in 1994 but I would like to know why he is locked up for 20 years at that hell hole. I wrestled against him and he was always a class act on and off the mat.

Looked up his case and it looks like he was convicted of breaking and entering neighbors house and attempted rape. Rape never occured, but with his priors the jury and judge threw the book at him. Defense was that he was heavily intoxicated and meant no harm, but the next door neighbor went ahead and pressed charges to the fullest degree.

This picture is off the sex offender registry. It looks like it was taken in some jail. FCD or Sussex state prison. Can somone tell me what exactly he did recently because it says carnel knowledge charge back in 1994. I had seen him around fairfax like 3 years ago. Drinking problem but not dangerous criminal.

In Virginia the Commonwealth presses charges if it is a felony. I have been heavily intoxicated several times in my life, never felt the need to break into someones home and try to rape them. Maybe its just me though.

I do agree with black jack. The question is though the sentence. There was no rape, it was his next door neighbor in burke center whom he knew. Definately deserved time but 22 years is very harsh, in my my opinion.

I met George once about six years ago at the Concorde District wrestling championships. He was providing private wrestling lessons at the time. I noticed that he attended States at Robinson, but did not not get in the lineup of past champions. I thought that was odd. Seemed like a nice guy. It's sad to see people with great potential and opportunities screw up their lives.

His first sex offence was in 1994. He was arrested again in July 2009, another sex offence. I felt sorry for him but it looks as if he did the same thing again. I don't want him coming into my house drunk and getting in the bed with me. He would leave in a bodybag.

Knew George in high school. Great wrestler and a very descent guy. Dont recall him getting too much pussy though. Being black at a mostly white school was challenging for him in that aspect. Back in the 80s black guys with white girls was not to common. There were a few pretty black girls but I dont think he got any of them. Trouble started in 1994 when he screwed a white chick who was 16 or 17 and he thought was 18. Did a couple years at county jail I beleive. When he got out he acted like he grew up in southeast dc rather than burke center. His drinking and possible drug use took toll on him and employment was hard to find. progressively it got worse and in 2009 he made huge mistake. Drunk and stupid went into neighbors house and wanted some action. She told him to get the hell away and called police. Police came and took him away and that was it. I am not saying he is angel but he did not have a knife or gun or beat her up. I feel he deserved some time but 23 fucking years in sussex is very very sad.

The guy was banned from almost every bar in the burke and fairfax area for every sort of problem, skipping bill, drunk and disruptive, etc. He had other arrests for drunkeness and disorderly. Eventually he could possibly kill someone or get killed. The judge had had enough. It is sad but if you keep fucking up you will end up in state prison with the real scumbags. I dont think he is as bad as a murderer, rapist, or extremely violent predator but enough is enough.

Holy shit! Just checked Va Corrections website for George H Mills and saw that he is now at Red Onion and his release date is 2034 instead of 2032. He never struck me as a dangerous criminal who is now at one of the worst prisons in the USA. He must have stabbed somebody at Sussex or done something pretty bad.

on gov workers have access to prev cases, they have it searchable onine your not allowed

the few cases you ARE shown are the ones gov won in court

-----------------------------
i accuse them of running a county without an even remotely feduciary court system in place

--------------------------
go online all they have is "you owe gov money pay up or we'll come after you with the force of weaponed militia". here is how to pay any questions call 1-800-fuck-off gov doesn't care

they hack the internet to be incompatibel and falsely display information

if it says online you owe $0 suspect that if you don't find out how much they say you owe and pay you'll owe that plus a $500 for not knowing.

they then tell you just because gov said $0 doesn't mean they told you since it's on the internet

next if you do maek a call to find out what you owe how do you knwo they aren't lying and are responsible if they are wrong ?

next you need a damn receipt for having talked to each gov agent to protect your ass from gov lying to you

assuming they aren't extorting you with torts you didn't owe to begin with: and there's a good chance they are

so listen and learn for once. with an uncooperative cheating ass democrat gov

you have to file a legal summons to find out what you owe so there is no chance you end up with a $500 fine.

HOWEVER. that takes like 15-30 days to wait for official response and $75-$2000 to send. and by that time you've allowed gov workers to spend more than owed on "processing" and your past due on payment.

HOW MUCH DO I OWE ? how much did they already owe.

these democrats in this jurisdiction, fairfax, have become lawless jackles that there is no reasonable way to deal with, about by "big city design" i'm surprised they didn't hire DC city workers to clue them in on "the city ways". oh right. they did i forgot.

Is there a reason why Fairfax County isn't on this list to view circuit court cases?

----------------------------
circuit court is a court of record

a judge is responsible for records

there is a record you or you were lied to

some cases are called "published" meaning found in books they want others to find law in. the gov mostly gov only publishes cases it wins in, so they can use that as commonwealth law to cheat in court again

it's there or there are people to arrest for it being missing, actually

all courts are public courts

HOWEVER you may have to pay for records that are hard to store. and certain informatoin (names of children, bank account numbers, details that aren't allowed in a trial) must be redacated before you see it. likely these are "sealed" already, and there pretty much has to be permission to seal unless it's a mute point asking

a black justice of the supreme court said after review of records he believed loudoun had a huge backlog of improperly done imprisonments and likely many in jail at this minute are not supposed to be there

I do agree with black jack. The question is though the sentence.

but he's black ! let him out and i'll make him a general !

yes sir dark lord ! we'll make him a g man immediately !

any given "civil" or "small claims" (lower) court has the option of not publishing and also not recording

anything which is "criminal" (of blood) or "misdemeanor" (read the fine print, they are called crimes by government lawyers) - has a duty to record and publish trials.

Circuit court has the legal duty to record all (words, filings) but may charge for transcript

none have the duty to put it online, though they cannot charge you for seeing records in person

none of the courts owe to publish "an opinion" (legal reasoning of motions and outcome written by judge)

however it's not illegal to request the reasoning (the judge must answer). and in highly questionable matters the judge might be forced to publish by (upper judges)

it's legal to leave a parting comment in the record, a final motion uncut from review after the decision, such as "i disagree the judge knows or followed (USA, ancient/inheirited law) laws because ..."

This is reaching, however, the fee has now increased to $150 to register for CPAN in order to obtain Circuit Court information for Fairfax County.

Would someone be so kind to look up Derek Kent Rose (01/15/1976).

Thanks in advance!

hey shithead

search case info for lawsuits against the court, against the county: there aren't any

that in itself shows you they are running an illegal system

for one thing: i have an outstanding warrant on them and they know it

I'm not sure if your message was in response to my simple request for info pertaining to Derek Kent Rose or not, however, if it was, I am unable to make any sense of it!

yes, he deserves his 22 years. There was an order of no trespass against him from a previous forceful entrance into his neighbors house. He came back into that house several months later while out on bail and attempted to rape the neighbor.

Susie, was Derek actually sentenced to fulfill the entire 22 years? If so, that is fantastic news. I see that he is currently incarcerated and has several upcoming court appearances in Fredericksburg next week.

I am George Mills' Brother, and he deserved to go to a mental hospital not prison. Our system is very broken. He definitely needed to be put away, but his problems were mental. It doesn't make sense that a person who grows up in a middle class neighborhood from good parents, would have these many issues. He was getting arrested for public intoxication, fighting, DWI's among other things. We would be much better as a society if we took care of our mental ill patients. Instead we throw them in jail and it accomplishes nothing. When a mentally ill person gets out of jail they go right back to the things that got them arrested in the first place. I don't know what was wrong with George, but I am sure mental illness was involved. I wish he could have received the help he needed before getting sentenced to 25 years. Thanks for the kind words Grappler. Wresting was Georges' passion and he was damn good at it.

First and foremost, my heart goes out to George and all his family for this terrible ordeal! George was a class act on and off the wrestling mat. He was one of the best wrestlers this region has seen ever! 2 time state champion! Damn good college career as well. Now I look and he is at Red Onion and his release date is 2034. I am a taxpayer and would like to know why this good man is in prison. Yes, I know about 1994 and his drinking problems etc. but he did not kill or rape or stick a knife or gun in someones face. Come on Virginia reopen his case and set this good man out and check him into a mental health facility. Is race the issue in this tragic case? Possibly. What was the last charge against him? Being drunk and stupid? Shit, you could go to any bar in Fairfax and lock everyone up. Mike, I hope you can talk to an Attorney and see what he or she can do. God bless. Ex wrestler.

Too many prisons are filled w mentally ill offenders.
96% of offenders try to self medicate with illicit drugs.
Then, their quest for drugs leads to crimes.
You can’t justify his attempted rape by saying he “didn’t have a gun/knife/beat her up” so it’s okay.....
This story is as old as the Bible.
Elite athletes get a FREE PASS and george thought he could get some pussy bc he was drunk etc.
Change the name and sport, and the story stays the same
